Such a great week at camp!

Oh my where to even begin. This week has been wonderful. First lets just get the great news out there. We had 2 salvations on site this week! So please please pray that these sweet girls will continue to come out and continue to be discipled over the next two weeks and long after we are gone. It was so exciting to see two campers have the opportunity to lead these young ladies to the Lord...they were so excited!
This week I had such an amazing group! It was just what I needed at this point in the summer. My adults were also so encouraging and awesome with both the students and site kids. We had a smaller week this week on site but some new faces came out which is always wonderful. (sorry I am a bit all over the place. I am trying to make myself stay up until 10 so I am a bit tired) Anyways. It's hard to say specifically why this week was great, but it really was. It was also Christmas week with the staff, so we did lots of fun things and secret santas always had treats awaiting us (my secret santa did amazing...thanks so much Mo!)
Here are some pictures of the week in no certain order because I can't figure out how to move them around:).
Many Bibles were passed out this week, and they were so excited to receive them. Pray that we are able to really teach them how to use them over the next two weeks! It's so cool because some of them are reading them on the weekends and at night, so I am really going to be giving them some guidance over the next few weeks of where to start reading and some specific scriptures.
Here is my awesome and sweet group from the week!
Ok this is Teddy and Anthony. Anthony has a lot of energy and wore Teddy out, but he loved every minute of it.
This is Joel! Love him! He is autistic and is non-verbal. He came out every day this week. Funny story...we knocked on his door Thursday as we do everyday, and he came out with the students who went to get him. Well later his mom comes looking for him because apparently he left while she was in the shower and didn't let her know. He was so excited to come out! One of my adults was an absolute blessing this week. She works with autistic children at a school and spent a lot of time loving on and working with Joel this week...thanks so much Mrs. Amy!
Here's Anthony again. He would run around on all fours. He became known as Mogli off of the Jungle Book:)
Precious brothers got themselves in a bit of a bind.
Sweet boys loved getting their faces painted.

It hit me for the first time this week that I only have 2 weeks left with these sweet kids. I believe God has big plans for this community over the next 2 weeks, so please be praying for BIG things to happen. Also please be praying for me as I get ready to leave these kids trusting that God will bring another group or someone else to continue the work that He has begun there. I can already tell this is going to be an emotional two weeks! I am tired so that will be all for now:) Love you all!!
